This Tap Lamp features a superb, authentic solid brass faucet that was fitted to an enormous electric urn used to provide teas for rural families in a small farming community in the South Island of New Zealand.

Despite its age and usage this faucet is in pristine condition due to Gareth's hours of reconditioning and fitting with a microswitch requiring the merest ¼ of a turn of the handle to operate the light. Built from ¼" British Standard Pipe this is one of most compact lamps in the range to date. This TapLamp lend itself to a certain shyness despite its history of gregarious, social gatherings. The shade with its petite, fluted, shell-like texture is extremely rare and is a collector's item in itself.
