TL002: “Stepping Out”

So named for it's almost tangible sense of movement, this lamp features a 1930's Art Deco, stepped, pearl lampshade. It's very rare to find a shade like this which was inspired by cubist trends within the prevailing popular, pre-war, arts culture.

In excess of five feet of British Standard Pipe have contributed to the lithesome limbs of this animated beauty, and the gunmetal blue finish understates the solid reserve of this fine TapLamp. The faucet is an original Methven designed faucet formerly used as a condensate collector in a city hall heating system.
